Vipers Alumni Brownlee Releases Latest Single & Music Video For "The Country Kind"

Former Vernon Vipers defenceman Chad Brownlee released his latest single and the music video for his new single “The Country Kind” (The Orchard).

"The Best That I Can (Superhero)",  his first single, was released in November 2009. Brownlee's self-titled debut album, produced by Mitch Merrett, was released in August 2010. Brownlee won the 2011 CCMA Rising Star award winner, also a recipient of his first JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year on February 19, 2013. 

Brownlee played four years at Minnesota State University from 2003-2007 before signing his first professional contract with the ECHL Idaho Steelheads in 2007. Following a series of injuries during the 2007-08 season, Brownlee was forced to retire from professional hockey. In 35 games with the Steelheads, Brownlee collected (1-goal-2-assists-3-points).

Brownlee was drafted in 2003 in the 6th round by the Vancouver Canucks.

Brownlee played two seasons in Vernon (2001-2003) In 113 games with the Vipers, Brownlee collected (14-goals-28-assists-42-points).
