I watched the Silverbacks/Vipers game on BCHL TV
I thought the Silverbacks were the better team in the opening frame and outplayed the Snakes for most of the 1st period. Salmon Arm had the edge in play, had lots of zone time, puck possession and were getting pucks to the net. The Vipers seemed to be a step behind at times, had troubles getting zone time, shots on goal and creating/generating chances. James Porter Jr was the busier of the two goaltenders.
I thought the 2nd period was a little more even at times but I still thought SA had a slight edge in play. The Snakes fell behind 2-0 and weren't getting many grade "A" chances. The Vipers outshot the Gorillas but a lot of those shots were from well out and Own Say was seeing almost everything fired at Salmon Arm's net.
Down a goal heading into the 3rd I thought Vernon pushed for the tying goal but again I thought most of the Viper shots were from well out or in close with no bodies in and around Owen Say. The Silverbacks goaltender was seeing everything and wasn't challenged much this evening. The Vipers with a big PK in the period had some looks late but fell short.
I didn't think Vernon played with a lot of jump/energy. The Snakes played hard, I didn't think created or generated enough quality chances through out the contest. Most of Vernon's shots were from well out and little to no traffic in front of Salmon Arm's goal. I didn't think the Vipers looked nearly as good as the past few games. Vernon needed to drive to the net a little more, make life difficult for Salmon Arm's goaltender.
Seth Bafaro, Trey Taylor, Griffen Barr, & James Porter Jr looked good and played well for the Vernon Vipers.
I thought the Silverbacks played one of if not their best game vs the Vipers this Pod season. The Snakes had won five of the previous six games vs the Apes prior to tonight. I really like Salmon Arm's game, I thought they played and battled hard, carried a lot of the play at times, had a slight edge in play at times and looked like the better team at times. I thought the Silverbacks kept Vernon's offensive players to the outside, forcing the Vipers to shot from well out and kept the Vipers forwards away from the front of the goal. Owen Say was good but I didn't think tested much. A big win for Salmon Arm who had lost back to back games.
Owen Say, Sullivan Mack, Cameron Recchi & Noah Serdachny looked good and played well for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
Where's all the Vipers fans?
Before COVID-19 there was always lots of good chatter after the games, no there's nothing!
Are fans still listening to the games on radio? Watching games on BCHL TV?

Not watching, Not listening. Even though I have been a season ticket holder for 25 years have absolutely no interest, but do check in on your site daily to check out the results. And I personally thank you for your efforts
