I watched the Vipers/Silverbacks game online this evening.

Overall this was a pretty entertaining hockey game. I thought the Vipers played much better after a disappointing loss to West Kelowna Friday afternoon. The Silverbacks took it to the Vipers and outplayed Vernon the last thirteen minutes or so of the opening period. James Porter Jr kept his team in the contest as the Snakes could have easily been down a couple of goals. A fairly even matched 2nd and 3rd periods with both teams getting some quality chances. I liked the Viper penalty kill tonight. Both goaltenders played very well. After losing their first three games, Salmon Arm has won back to back games and beat Vernon for the first time this Pod season. The Vipers started the Pod season 3-0 have dropped back to back games.

I thought Griffen Barr, Zack Tonelli and James Porter Jr looked good and played well for the Vernon Vipers.

I thought Noah Serdachny, Daniel Panetta, Sullivan Mack and Owen Say looked good and played well for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

The Vipers next game is Monday at 1pm vs the West Kelowna Warriors
