If the BCHL leaves the CJHL, will Hockey Canada allow its referees and linesmen to do BCHL games?

Leaving Hockey Canada is all about having access to 16 and 17 year olds from outside BC and a few western states, and Major Junior, which controls Hockey Canada, wants to keep those young players under their thumb. Those young players can stay in weaker Junior A leagues back east or go to the USHL, or abandon their NCAA dreams and play Major Junior.

It's about interprovincial transfers and Major Junior has the clout to tell Hockey Canada to not let their refs work for an outlaw league. I think a majority of BCHL teams will cave and vote to stay in Hockey Canada's CJHL.

Leaving the CJHL and leaving HC are two totally different conversations. Just because the BCHL leaves the CJHL, doesn’t mean it leaves Hockey Canada.

It would be nice if hockey canada would inform us fans in B.C. that follow junior hockey what the down sides are and changes that will take place should the BCHL leave the CJHL. There seems to be alot of gray area with lack of understanding. Like anything else when one makes a decision it is nice to know the accurate facts . Have a nice day.
