Former Vernon Vipers defenceman Sol Seibel missed the past eight games with an injury, returned to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks lineup Friday night in a 5-2 loss to the visiting Penticton Vees. Seibel has thirteen assists in 42 games with Salmon Arm this season.
Seibel played parts of two seasons in Vernon (2016-2018) playing in 77 games with the Vipers collecting (1-goal-12-assists-13-points). The Vipers traded Seibel and future considerations to the Alberta Junior Hockey League Bonnyville Pontiacs for forward Derek Brown January 8th 2018. Seibel never played a game with Bonnyville was traded to Salmon Arm January 10th 2018.
