The Vernon Vipers return home after a two game road trip where they went 0-2. The Vipers are coming off a 3-0 loss in Penticton Friday host the Cowichan Capitals on the Vipers annual teddy bear toss. Tonight is the third and final regular season meeting between these two teams. The Vipers come from behind to defeat the Capitals 4-3 in overtime at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack back in September fell 6-3 in Cowichan November 7th. Since the 2003-04 regular season Vernon is 8-1-1-0 at home vs. Cowichan. The Vipers have lost five straight are 3-6-0-1 in their last ten games. The Vipers have lost five of their last eight home games sit 4th in the Interior Division are just four points up on Trail for the final playoff spot. The Vipers are eight points back of West Kelowna and eleven points back of Salmon Arm.

The Cowichan Capitals make their first and only regular season visit to Kal Tire Place. Since the 2003-04 regular season Cowichan is 5-18-1-0 vs. Vernon. The Capitals are coming off a 6-4 win in West Kelowna last night, snapped a two game losing streak jumped into 2nd place in the Island Division with the victory Friday. Tonight is the fourth game of a five game road trip, Cowichan is currently 1-2 to start the trip finish in Salmon Arm Sunday afternoon. The Capitals have lost three of their last five are 5-4-0-1 in their last ten games. Cowichan is an impressive 10-2-0-1 at home won just their fifth game away from home, sport a 5-8-1-2 record on the road this season.
