Sanche spent the 2025-26 season with the Western Hockey League Penticton Vees, Vernon Vipers & Maritime Junior Hockey League Summerside Western Capitals.
The Vernon Vipers signed Sanche January 9th 2026. In 7 games with the Vernon Vipers, Sanche went 0-5 with a 4.80 GAA

Oh Vipers lose one of their goaltenders
It's disappointing to see Sanche leaving the Vipers for the AJHL. I would have loved to see him play again this year.
Sanche was eligible to return to the Vipers this season as was Oliver Kanat and Lane Maarhuis. My guess is Sanche figured the Vipers crease was too crowded and he wanted more playing time, so decided another opportunity would be best. I liked Sanche, he didn't play a whole lot to end the 2025-26 season but I liked him and thought he battled & played hard in his short time with the Vipers. His numbers weren't great but he played well in goal for a Vernon team that missed the playoffs.
Will Oliver Kanat return to the Vipers or head to the NAHL? The Vipers could have three goaltenders heading into training camp if Kanat & Maarhuis return.
We are not supposed to be focused on the players we are supposed to be still going goo goo about the new uniforms. New Era Begins, Big News is Coming, Same Venom, blah, blah, blah!!! Don't think about players, quick look at the shiny thing.
