I see the Vipers have added another player today in a trade and for whatever reason Shaun Rios is no longer on the team. These players coming and going, I don't know how the team is going to gel with all these moves recently. I understand Matt Cooke is trying to improve the team but this is crazy
Not the biggest kid but let's see how he plays defensively. The Vipers defence has struggled, with constant turnovers, struggling to get the puck out of their own end and making mistakes. The Vipers sure miss Oscar Bjork, I thought other then Edvin Nilsson is one of their top two d-men. It would be nice of he returns to the lineup sooner then later.
With the trade deadline looming it will be interesting to see what the Vipers do. If they continue to struggle will we see them try to improve the team or if they fall much further out of a playoff spot, we they unload 20 year olds or players not returning next year for players that can get that will play next season? Either way, I don't think the trades/moves are done
More changes... What the heck is going on? It doesn't seem to matter who we get, the team continues to keep losing. At this rate will be lucky if we win another game
According to the league website here is a list of how many players have played for each team this season
Alberni Valley 40 Blackfalds 37 Brooks 35 Chilliwack 35 Coquitlam 37 Cowichan 36 Cranbrook 35 Langley 38 Nanaimo 36 Okotoks 30 Powell River 37 Prince George 31 Salmon Arm 36 Sherwood Park 32 Spruce Grove 32 Surrey 53 Trail 33 Vernon 55 Victoria 30 West Kelowna 31
