The rumour was that Panonuzzi had already decided to return to Steinbach when he was traded to the Vipers. If so, Vernon traded Bussmann for nothing.

Having “players rights” doesn’t appear to mean anything since this league has broken from Hockey Canada and has turned player movement into a free-for-all. It is possibly worse for teams at the bottom like Vernon. We can’t blame the players, the owners created this mess. As a fan, I find it hard to get excited about a team that is constantly changing players.

Hockey. Its a cheap night out with my buds and the coffee and pizza makes for a nice time again with something to do in the winter months. Sometime the hockey is exciting and sometimes boring but again a nice night out for me and other people who get to visit with family and friends. So get over it and enjoy your evening or just stay at home and watch your media delights.

This is the second time in two seasons the Brooks Bandits traded a player to the Vipers that didn’t report. Last year The Bandits traded 19 year old defenceman Shane Burns to the Vipers February 10th 2025 for forward Luke Bibby. Burns never reported to the Vipers and rejoined the Steinbach Pistons, a team he previously played for the year before. No word was ever mentioned if the Bandits had to give the Vipers another player or future considerations.

I was really looking forward to Paronuzzi joining the Vipers, a player that is very skilled and someone that could help the Vipers offensively.

The Bandits should be forced to give the Vipers another player or future considerations.

Final year of junior - definitely not going to want to go to a team that might not even make playoffs.

Looks like another player left the team.
