The coaching staff and the owners are fully aware that it will take time before us a fans can enjoy a winning culture again with the vernon vipers. In previous years it was hard to keep awake with the lack of effort from its coaches to its players. I am excited as slowly but surely I am seeing a culture change on the ice from the enthusiasm of its coaches to the players wanting to work with the coaching staff as to improve themselves. I know patience is a big word now a days but I have to say fans its a lot more enjoyable to come to the vipers games than it was before with John Glen, the coach Mckee ,lomicky and morriesette as coaches as it always was the same old same old and as a fan hard to keep awake. Lets look to the future as I feel the good old days will return and as I said patience is tough but the rewards will be there. GO,VIPERS,GO.
Khaidarov isn't very big and doesn't have a lot of points the last couple of seasons. I don't know about other Vipers fans, but I sure do not like all the players coming and going last season and again this season. I understand it's a part of hockey but if you look at the other teams, they haven't come anywhere near 50 plus players this season, so why the Vipers? I understand the team is trying to better the team and they are short players due to injuries but it's very difficult to follow the team with players coming and going every few days. Is this the new BCHL or is this going to be the new normal? I sure hope not cause I don't like it. Gone are the days of watching your favourite player play here for two-three seasons, watch him grow and develop into a better hockey player etc.
Limited interest in development. Looking for instant production and if it’s not there onto the next. Tough time to come to a team as a bottom 6 forward with poor chance at playoffs. This league has not changed for the better. These teams carry few BC players, the attraction is US or Europe. BCHL has lost their way. Kids come over when they’ve been cut from a major Junior to bide time until something better comes along. I’ve been hearing kids are declining BCHL offers due to being mislead as to roles they will hold. I’m thinking situations like Dunn’s are common. Bringing over players from other leagues who are doing well with promises and then given 4h line minutes. There are only a few teams that value BC talent which is unfortunate because BC kids are having to play elsewhere even though they can compete in this League. There is no way these teams are better off financially than before leaving hockey Canada

Wow another 20 year old. He's too small and has no points. I don't know what the Vipers are thinking when they keep changing the roster all the time.
