Giants Add 18-Year-Old Forward Charko to Roster - Vancouver GiantsCharko played the past two seasons with the Western Hockey League Seattle Thunderbirds.
The Vernon Vipers added Charko to their roster September 18th 2025. In 31 games, Charko collected (10-goals-8-assists-18-points).

Sorry to see Charko leave. I really liked his style of play of giving 100 % . Wishing Charko all the success in his new adventure.
A big loss for the Vipers. Charko come to play every night, played hard and played the right way. Was one of the more skilled players for the Vipers. I liked his play, his compete and his style of play. Charko will be deeply missed. Wishing Samuel all the best with the Giants.
Well that sucks. I really liked Charko
Disappointing to see Charko leave, he was my favorite player this year. Sam plays the game hard and doesn’t take a shift off. Going to the Giant’s allows Sam to earn one more year of Canadian University funding so it is a very smart move for him personally. I applaud him & wish him the best.
