I figured Gee would be the odd man out. When training camp started, I think the Vipers had Gee as their starter but quickly Oliver Kanat turned some heads, played better before the Vipers brought in Maxim Abdullayev. With Kanat and two 20 year old goaltenders you knew one of the older tenders would be gone. Abdullayev has only played one game but obviously the team thinks he is the better goaltender over Gee. I thought Gee played well but seemed to give up a soft goal or a goal he would like to have back every other game. His GAA was high and the Vipers obviously went looking for a replacement. Good luck to Gee landing a spot in his final year of junior hockey.
