With flo hockey not available tonight, I had to listen to the game on the radio. I can't remember the last time I listened to a Vipers game on the radio. This sounded like a good game. The Vipers built up a 3-1 and 5-3 lead before earning just their second win of the season. Nice to see the power play click tonight and the team find the back of the net. I didn't catch last night's game but judging by the boxscore, the Vipers played very well to take the best team to overtime. Vernon gets three out of four points this weekend. The Vipers have been playing well, just haven't been getting the wins, lets hope tonight gets this team rolling.
It did sound like a great game! Stuck on the radio as well. Heard from others that it was broadcast on Live Barn, but unless you have kids in minor hockey probably missed it. Congrats to the boys on a well deserved win after many close games. Glad they are showing resilience. Shout out to Munroe on the Hat Trick! Also to Nilsson, he’s been solid all season. New goalie that came in during the second “sounded” good on radio. Couldn’t spell his name if I tried right now. Hope others figure out the login, seems comments are dropping off. It’s not hard if you have a google account, which is the same as a gmail account.
Well I was glad to see them get a W especially after the late goal in the previous game that cost them the win. My thoughts on this season have not wavered. Cooke came in way too late to recruit a team. Plus he is from the East Coast and its going to take him some time to figure out what the BCHL is all about. I'm giving him a whole season to get established here. As long as I keep seeing good hockey played and continual improvement that's all right with me. The cracks in Brandon Gee's game finally appeared. Right from the get go I was not impressed with the way he played the position. In my opinion Oliver Kanat has better technical skills than Gee. That game likely cost Gee any chance at a scholarship.

Huge win! I'm liking the boys are connecting together now. I think Matt Cooke has put together a good team in such short time being here.
