I watched the Vipers game on FloHockey. Another entertaining game and a game the Vipers should have won. Vernon was the better team for most of the game. Sherwood Park played their best in the 3rd. Both goaltenders were good. I have noticed Sebastian Bradshaw takes a lot of penalties. Vernon played very well this weekend and could have won both games. The Vipers haven’t won a lot of games but other than one game have been in every game and had a chance to win every game. So far the Vipers problem has been scoring. There’s many plenty of games where if they scored a couple of power play goals or capitalized on their opportunities they could have won those games. The team is so much better and fun to watch than last season and previous years. It’s still early and the team is improving as the season goes on. Let’s be patient and see how this team finishes.

I listened to the game. Yup thats crappy when they are playing so well but can’t score. We need a couple snipers for goal scoring. Now they head to the island for 2 games

Watched on Flo, the effort is there, it’s obvious they want to play hard for their coach, within itself is a vast improvement from last year.
Except for the early Cranbrook game they lost 6-1, every game has been down to the wire without quit.
I’ve said it before several games ago, I hope they start working pressure shooting drills in practice to work on hitting the twine.
Obviously some PP drills as well.
Kudos to the top PK in the league!

Oh and the amount of blocked shots those boys did and were not scared to get in front of it changed that game score by a few goals for sure.
Love Kanat in net, that young man is tending very well.
