Penticton has done a masterful job on the upkeep of Memorial Arena. Visiting it in recent years to watch TOJLL games has been a treat.

Back in the day for hockey, the thrill of our teams victory and the agony of defeat on the faces of the opposition was sheer joy in that arena.

As with all good things they must come to end.

Like our own Civic Arena, the Penticton Memorial Arena has out grown it usefulness to the community at large. A replacement for both is/was long overdue and needed.

I would think that in the near future Kamloops Memorial is next!
