The late start will cause many of the younger fans to miss those games but there will be 5 senior girls teams and all their fans available to watch from the Esso cup.Vernon will need to get an early win and hope their talent and size can wear down the Vees. Sparrow carried this underdog team a few years ago in a similar situation. Perhaps he can motivate them again. If Vernon can play to their talent level and goaltending stays hot they can upset Penticton.

Attendance will be extremely poor. I'm guessing maybe 1000 per night with the late start time.

How can the five teams be senior teams when the players on the teams are high school students
Ron they are 6 teams and not 5 teams and how can the 6 teams be senior teams when the players on the teams are high school students
I remember when the Vernon Lakers games always started at 8pm back in the 1980s and 1990s
