"That's a Wrap", the season is over. It is refreshing how the Vipers responded when there was a coaching change, unfortunately it may have been a bit too late. It hope the players can all feel good about how they finished the season, how they won round 1 against Trail & competed hard against the Vees. Good job fellas!!!

I was impressed with Lukas Lomicky and Colton Sparrow and how they took over in a difficult situation. They both did very well, billets have mentioned that the players loved playing for this duo. Where do the Vipers go from here? I think these 2 young coaches have earned the right to return next year and hope they are considered, especially Lukas as head coach. They certainly have my vote.

I agree with bringing back Lukas and Colton but I think the Glens who have been doing the scouting along with Colton for new players need to back of and hire someone a specific to do that job, someone who has a lot of contacts in the hockey world. The reason I say this is this is what makes the penticton organization so successful as this is the route they have taken and have been very successful. I am not saying the glens and colton have not done a good job but that a scout with more contacts would I believe bring more success to the vipers. go vipers go.

Yes the word on the street was that that atmosphere definitely changed in the room after McKee was let go but let's not forget that this staff also recruited the players that were here. We had little to no offense, terrible PP and a defense that couldn't make a pass out of their own zone which made us an average team at best. The only positive was our stellar goaltending which was the reason for many of the wins this year. The only way this will change is with a new GM and Coach who has total control of the hockey decisions and no interference from John Glenn.
