Former Vipers Assistant Coach Godard Joins Minnesota Wild Scouting Staff:

Former Vernon Vipers Assistant Coach Eric Godard is in his second season with the
 Minnesota Wild as an Amateur Scout. 

No official press release from the Minnesota Wild but Godard is listed on the teams website as one of their Amateur Scouts.

Godard played three seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Lethbridge Hurricanes from 1997-2000 before signing his first professional contract with the American Hockey League Louisville Panthers in 2000. Godard played two seasons in the American Hockey League before signing with the New York Islanders in 2002. Godard played eight seasons in the NHL with New York, Calgary & Pittsburgh from 2002-2011. Godard retired from professional hockey in 2012.

Godard was an Assistant Coach with the 2013-14 Salmon Arm Silverbacks & 2014-15 Vernon Vipers.

Confirmed he has officially been away from the team since last Monday not on the bench and team was notified Monday!
