I think the points awarded should have changed also.Three points for a regulation time win, two points for overtime win, 1 point for shoot-out win.No points for any type of lose.This would encourage teams to win in regulation time, rather than go to overtime or shoot-out.
I like the idea of ten minute overtimes. I always thought five minute overtimes weren't long enough.
