Former Viper Tryout Maser Scores Overtime Winner In Game 1 Of Canada West Final:

Former Vernon Vipers tryout forward Josh Maser scored at 5:41 of

overtime In Game 1 Friday at the Canada West Final to give the University of Calgary Dinos a 3-2 overtime victory over the University of Alberta Golden Bears.

Maser is in his second season at the University of Calgary. In 28 games, Maser has (9-goals-10-assists-19-points). 

Maser played four seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Prince George Cougars before signing his first professional contract with the American Hockey League Iowa Wild July 22nd 2020. Maser split the 2020-21 season with the American Hockey League Iowa Wild & ECHL Allen Americans.

Maser attended the Vernon Vipers training camp in August 2016 before leaving camp for the Western Hockey League Prince Albert Raiders training camp. The Raiders traded Maser to Prince George October 18th 2016.
