Listed at 5'7 168lbs The kid is small and had 9 points last season in the Western Hockey League. I don't understand bringing in a kid who's small and can't score. The Vipers have struggled offensively and need scoring! Why aren't they looking for a goal scorer?

Were sixteen games into the season and the Vipers have made a ton of trades this season. And the revolving door continues.... Who's next?

This is what happens when you have poor scouting/recruiting. You put together an average team that starts off slow and now have to make several trades or roster moves to try and improve your hockey team, but in the meantime your not giving the team a chance to gel, build and bond together and grow as a team, instead your changing lines and bringing in new players often. Players are clutching their sticks, thinking their next out the door. You look at the top teams from year to year, they recruit and scout elite players and assemble a strong roster/team to start the season. As the season goes on the team grows and gets better, will only have to make a few adjustments or tweaks. Instead the Vipers are still trying to build their team and get better as other teams are piling on wins and climbing the standings while the Vipers are fumbling and have a 500 hockey team.

In the long term this will hurt the Vipers as what kid will want to come to Vernon knowing he may only last a few games or a few months before being traded. Your recruits are your future and when you keep trading away your recruits/committed players, word will get around and you'll have a difficult time recruiting with kids knowing you usually make a ton of trades/moves through out the season and they could be delt.

With the amount of player movement this season, will the Vipers still have any cards left to make moves before the trade deadline?
