I watched tonight's game on my computer. I thought the Vipers held their own and played well in the 1st period. The Vipers held their own at times in the 2nd period but Penticton was the better team and carried the better of the play at times, had more shots and more scoring chances in that 2nd period. As the game went on, the Vees took over and blew the game open in the 3rd period. Roan Clarke was the difference making several highlight reel saves. If it wasn't for Clarke, the Vees could have easily won 10 or 12-2 Where would the Vipers be last year and again this year if it wasn't for their goaltending? The Vipers goaltenders have kept Vernon in most games this year and been one of the few bright spots on a dismal season.

The Vipers are looking a lot like last year's team and aren't any better. Vernon has one win in their last five games and four wins in their last eleven games.

If you listened to Graham Turnbull during the game and Jason McKee after the game they both made it sound like it was a much closer game and the Vipers were in this hockey game. How ever you saw the game, at the end of the day the Vipers still lost. Another very disappointing and dismal season.

If you count last year's playoffs and this year's regular season, the Vees have won 33 straight games.
