Former Vernon Vipers forward Brent Dodinghorse is doing some
diversity training with the Calgary Flames.

Dodginghorse was elected as councillor with the Tsuut’ina Nation in 2008. He is the current Portfolio holder for companies, working along side Tsuut’ina Contracting, Sarcee Developments, Sarcee Gravel and the Emergency Response Team to name a few.
Dodginghorse played two seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Calgary Hitmen before signing his first professional contract in 1999 with the ECHL Johnstown Chiefs. Dodginghorse played two seasons in the ECHL with the Johnstown Chiefs & Pensacola Ice Pilots before retiring from professional hockey in 2001.
Dodginghorse played two seasons in Vernon from 1995-1997. The Vipers traded Dodginghorse in the summer of 1997. In 111 games with the Vipers, Dodginghorse collected (53-goals-82-assists-135-points).
