Cents Announce 2022-23 Coaching Staff | Merritt Centennials
Steel from Vernon, BC played three seasons at Brown University from 2013-2016 before leaving school and signing his first professional contract in 2016 with the Southern Professional Hockey League Huntsville Havoc. Steel played one season with the Havoc before retiring from professional hockey after the 2016-17 season.
Steel attended the Vernon Vipers 2008 Spring Camp, 2009 & 2010 Training Camps, was released after playing a few exhibition games in 2010. Steel signed with the Merritt Centennials in 2010 and played three seasons in Merritt before committing to Brown University for the 2013-14 season.
