Top Defenceman Award Renamed The Campbell Blair Trophy:

The BC Hockey League has voted in favour of updating the names of several year-end-awards. The League has changed its name of the league's Top Defenceman Award, will now be known as the Campbell Blair Trophy.

Blair played parts of two seasons in Vernon from 1985-1987. In 86 games with the Vernon Lakers, Blair collected (50-goals-98-assists-148-points).
