Coyotes Name Former Vernon Laker Oliver New Scout:

The Arizona Coyotes have named former Vernon

Lakers forward David Oliver a pro scout.

Oliver spent the previous three seasons as an Assistant Coach with the New York Rangers before being fired May 12th 2021.

Prior to joining the New York Rangers, Oliver spent the previous eleven seasons in the Colorado Avalanche organization with the Avalanche and American Hockey League Lake Erie Monsters.

Oliver played four years at the University of Michigan from 1990-1994. Oliver played professional hockey for thirteen years in five different leagues in the NHL, AHL, IHL, DEL & BNL with twelve different teams from 1994-2007. 

Oliver was drafted in the 7th Round 144th overall by the Edmonton Oilers at the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Oliver played in the NHL with Edmonton, New York, Ottawa, Pheonix & Dallas.

Oliver played two seasons in Vernon from 1988-1990 with the Vernon Lakers. The Lakers changed their name to the Vernon Vipers in 1995. In 166 games with the Vernon Lakers, Oliver collected (92-goals-86-assists-178-points).
