Vipers in 5. They are well balanced, can score, have a very mobile defence and are healthy for the first time this year. They play an upbeat game and smother teams with their fore check. Hopefully they can get on a good run.

The best news is Penticton is out. There will be some soul searching in Vee-land. Freddie's teams always dominate in the regular season and then get very average in the post season. They have only got past the second round once in the past 4 years. Do they empty the tank too early or do they not play the style of game that prevails at playoff time? I think part of the problem is that Freddie basically uses one goalie all year and they are physically & mentally drained come playoffs.
