The Odense Bulldogs are a professional ice hockey team based in Odense, Denmark. They currently are part of the best Danish league Metal Ligaen, and they are furthermore the only hockey team from Funen. The team was founded in 1978 and was promoted to the top league in 1991.
Walchuk played the previous four years at the University of Calgary before heading to Denmark for the 2017-18 season.
Walchuk parts of three seasons in Vernon (2009-2012). Walchuk left the Vipers after the 2010-11 season for the University of Northern Michigan before returning to the Vipers in December of 2011 after playing in just 19 games with the Wolverines. In his second stint with the Vipers Walchuk left Vernon after playing in just six games. Walchuk left the Vipers on January 10th 2012 for the Western Hockey League Spokane Cheifs where he would finish his junior hockey career (2012-2013). In 117 games with the Vipers Walchuk collected (44-goals-65-assists-109-points).

Bulldogs has signed a contract with two Canadian profiles, Dylan Walchuk and Nick Walters.
By Peter Bergman The first foreign contract signatures prior to the 2017/18 season are in house. Thus, Bulldogs has signed contracts with Canadians Dylan Walchuk and Nick Walters.
The attacker Dylan Walchuk changes from the University of Calgary in the CIS league where he spent the last four seasons. In addition, he has two WHL seasons on the resume, where it has become a sea of goals and assistants for Spokane Chiefs.

Nick Walters is a physically strong 93kg defender who has a sensational resume. In 2012 he was chosen as NHL number 116 by St. Louis Blues, after which he has played a game of matches in AHL, WHL and ECHL and has just finished his first year as a full-time professional.
'I've always had the dream of playing NHL, but I'm still young, so now I'm looking for Europe. And when Bulldogs made an offer, I could not say no, says Nick Walters.
He describes himself as a defensively oriented defender who has good episodes and is good at boxplay. In addition, he is strong physically and blocks some shots.
Nick Walters is set to be one of Bulldog's leaders on the ice and the other's team's backers can lean on.
Dylan Walchuk and Nick Walters know each other from the North American ice stadiums.
