muggins1498 Ty Taylor will not be coming back next year. I checked the bchl website commitments page and it said 2018-19 season. I then checked with the university of new Hampshire commitment web page and found that Ty was going to play there this fall. too bad for us but you can't stop the kids from progressing.
Hello VDH... a very good Viper year but a disappointing end to the season. You have to wonder about the 2 calls to Vernon with 4 minutes to play. Yes, probably legit penalties but usually a time where good Refs let them go. Also saw a blatant hit from behind to Judson that was not called in the same time period. Typical calls in Wenatchee. Very hard for the boys to lose that way, especially the ones not returning.
I am confused with the coaches unwillingness or possibly inability to ice a full line-up with all the injuries. I have heard that they should have made commitments to which AP's that they would call up earlier but didn't. Junior B and Major Midget playoffs are an excuse as many good players available whose seasons were over. An explanation would be nice. I don't understand playing with a short bench, especially against the Wild. 5 D-men in the first 4 games and 3 lines in the deciding game is far too tough. The boys played their hearts out but fatigue was clearly a factor.
THANK YOU for a wonderful year with your Blog. It is a treat to read and you do an amazing job of keeping us all informed. Looking forward to 2018-19 already. I would love to catch up this summer to talk hockey.
