I have a question. Why is it that Mark Ferner, Kevin Kraus and Pederson never in the last few years make a comment on your blog ? Is it that they are with to much of a ego to lower themselves to make a little small comment or maybe the excuse would be , I'm sorry BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. How shameful of them that after all these years of your dedication on the blog. That Ferner and company haven't got the guts to make a comment. I guess there is that hockey ego for you. TOO BAD.AND SAD

I have no doubt they would read the blog on occasion but to start commenting on it would open up a whole can of worms it would be in their best interest to avoid in my opinion. (As nice as it would be)
All the cuckoos would start coming out of the wood work criticizing them at any opportunity or blaiming them for this and that or why didn't you do this etc etc.
I've known a few parents of kids on the team that have mixed feelings on the blog as well. The majority I've talked to read it-especially if they are from out of town which most of them are to keep up to date, but I've also met a couple who said they didn't read it because they didn't want to read something possibly negative about their son.
What would be cool though (and perhaps the previous poster was alluding to this) would be a thank you to DieHard for all his efforts at keeping the fans up to date. I know I sure appreciate it!

Blogger, you hit the nail on the head, my comment was meant that I wasn't asking of there opinions on hockey so as to get them in trouble. I just found in odd that the vipers organization , coaching staff, todd miller , etc. wouldn't at least comment on the good work that you do. Well if they do read your blog maybe we shall have one of there comments on such a fine job that you do.

I know for a fact the Vipers know about this blog and check it out. How do you think I got the opportunity to do some work in the broadcast booth, doing some color commentary with the Vipers on radio broadcasts during the 2003-04 season. I also had the opportunity to help create and run the Vipers website for five years, from 2011-2015. I had no say in the content/info put on the website, more was in charge of keeping photo's, player and staff bio's updated etc and then posting any new news regarding the team/league. Both opportunities were because of this blog.

I was very good friends with Duncan Wray and knew him for close to twenty years. He always appreciated my blog and the work I did with it. He checked out my blog daily, several times a day, and also made comments on here on different subjects. He would always pull me aside at a Vipers game and give me some info or ideas for my blog.

I also know for a fact that several Viper volunteers and former Viper players & parents visited this blog when involved with the team. Former Viper defenceman Ryan Koopman's parents were one of if not the first Viper parents to find out who I was, then contact me at a game and send their appreciation for the blog and my effort into the blog. They were always big fans of the blog and the work I did. Over the years I have had other former Viper parents contact me and let me know what they thought of my blog and appreciated the work, info and news I posted, keeping them updated through out the season. In Dauphin Manitoba I was at the 2011 Royal Bank Cup, and had several Viper parents get in touch with me, share their thoughts of my blog and appreciation. Adam Thompson, Graeme Gordon & Blake Voth's parents were big fans and followers of this blog. I ran into David Robinson the year after the Royal Bank Cup in Camrose Alberta and found out hes a big fan of this blog. I had the opportunity of meeting Brett Corkey's parents on several different occasions and the Corkey family was another set of Viper parents that were big supporters and fans of my blog. To this day, they still visit my blog daily. I recently had Jimmy Lambert's parents send me a comment on this blog. Troy Mick is also another big fan-supporter of my blog. Even now with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, I still get stopped in the crowd by Mick and told to keep up the great work with the blog. I have also heard that former Vernon Vipers captain Lennie Rampone is a huge fan-supporter of this blog and regular visitor to this site.

I take a lot of pride into this blog, I try to be professional and as unbiased as possible. Not many fans know how much time and effort it takes to keep a blog like this going. A ton of hours daily go into making this blog happen. Not including the amount of time it takes to publish/post the game previews and game recaps, the amount of time and hours just surfing the internet, searching-looking for any kind of news regarding the team, trades, league news and then alumni updates. Its like a second job.

I really appreciate the viewers/visitors who check out this blog, as without you, this blog wouldn't exist. So no matter who the comments are from, good or bad I really appreciate the comments/feedback.

STILL NO COMMENT FROM THE VIPERS ORGANIZATION ON YOUR GOOD WORK. VERY SAD, BUT OH WELL . SHIT HAPPENS, MOVING FORWARD.
