I watched tonight's game online. I really enjoy watching games on Hockey tv from Wenatchee. The camera work-view is great! I only wish they would show replays like they do in Chilliwack.
The Vipers didn't get off to a great start, giving up the games first goal just nineteen seconds into the opening period. I thought Vernon played hard for most of the night, didn't generate much for offensive chances, had troubles getting out of their own end and into the offensive zone in the 3rd. Wenatchee with a very strong-aggressive forecheck/attack in the 3rd forced several Viper turnovers through out the night, resulted in their second goal. Overall a fairly entertaining game to watch with some controversial hits-plays that weren't called.
Interesting stat as Anthony Yamnitsky takes the loss, has now been in goal in five of Vernon's six losses.
With the victory Wenatchee remains in 3rd at 16-7-1-1 are now just four points back of the Snakes. With the loss the Vipers remain in 2nd place fall to 17-6-0-4 are a single point back of Division leading Trail.
