Tonight's the first of two regular season meetings with the Rivermen. The Vipers swept both games vs Langley last year. These two teams will meet again February 9th in Vernon. Tonight's the first of a two game road trip, where the Snakes have just one win in their last four games away from home. Tonight is the Vipers third game in five days and fourth game in seven days. The Vipers come into tonight having won two straight, are unbeaten in their last six games. The Snakes have just two losses in their last eleven games. The 10-3-8-0 Langley Rivermen are coming off a 2-1 double overtime loss to the Prince George Spruce Kings Saturday in Prince George. The Rivermen return home after losing both games in Prince George over the weekend. The Spruce Kings outscored Langley 6-4 in the two games. The Rivermen will play five of their next six games at home, have won six straight at home. The Rivermens only loss at home was a 5-4 double overtime loss to the visiting Chilliwack Chiefs in the Rivermen home opener. Langley comes into tonight having lost back to back games but have won three of their last five and seven of their last ten games. Langley has a league high, eight overtime losses. The Rivermen sit atop the Mainland Division are 3rd overall in the league.
