The Vernon Vipers are getting ready to kick off another season of BCHL action with their main camp starting on Monday August 21st. It’s expected the Snakes camp will be relatively small this year as the team has a number of returning players as well as recruits coming in. But as Head Coach Mark Ferner always says “everyone has to earn their spot on the team.” Below are some of Coach Ferner’s thoughts on camp and the upcoming season as well as the main camp and preseason schedules.

REGISTRATION – 5:00pm
MONDAY AUGUST 21st
Goalie Session 8:00 – 8:45am
Defence Skills 9:00 – 10:00am
Forward Skills 10:15 – 11:15 am
Team Red Practice 4:00pm – 5:00 pm
Team Gold vs Team Blue 5:30 – 7:30pm
TUESDAY, AUGUST 22nd
Team 1 & 3 Education Seminar 9:00 – 10:00am

lets hope at this years camp the Vipers office provides us with better info on player transactions than last years camp. Actually, ANY info would be an improvement over last year.
