Vernon Vipers Head Coach Mark Ferner calls it a huge shot in the arm as his team gets ready to open training camp for the upcoming BCHL season. The return of Jimmy Lambert to the team was unexpected, as the second year forward was headed to Alaska to play NCAA hockey for the 2017-18 season.
Ferner says the team made a number of moves in the off-season expecting that they would be losing a few players to college hockey but instead many of the vets are returning for another year of Junior A hockey including forward Jagger Williamson and defenceman Michael Ufberg.
Hockeytube.net is also glad to be working with the Vernon Vipers again this season and will be bringing some cool new video features for the coming year.
