The Vernon Canadians were one of seven different team names Vernon's junior hockey team has had since joining the league in 1961. The Vernon Canadians were around for the 1978-79 season, took a leave of absence for the 1979-80 season, before re-joining the league as the Vernon Lakers for the 1980-81 season.

Ya, no problem, lots of forgotten history with-in them. Will be doing 1981-82 during the summer :)
