Is the BCHL wanting more Alberta teams, to cut travel and costs on the current teams from Alberta already in the league? Add more Alberta teams so they won't have to travel to BC as often and vice versa? I wonder how many more teams from Alberta will join?

I wonder what Alberta teams will be coming to the BCHL? I didn't like it when they first agreed to join our league. This is the BCHL and it should be kept that way just like I didn't like it when Wenatchee was in our league.

To me the BCHL is now a joke! I don't know why any teams would want to join it as you can't compete with the rest of Canada for the Centennial Cup. All you win now is some stupid BCHL trophy that most fans don't even know the name of

Your right Alf it would be nice if they had of stayed with hockey canada and had the ability to try for the Centennial Cup. The management team of this leaque feel there going in the right direction which can be viewed as rightly or wrongly. I feel at this point that for us fans to be able to socialize in the winter at prices which aren't overwhelming is at least a plus and the coffee is good and the food affordable and its a time to BS about hockey and whatever. Looking forward to next hockey season.
