Will Landon Young report to Vernon or continue playing in the Western Hockey League? Not the biggest kid, didn't put up big numbers but has Major Junior experience.

I like the addition of Spencer Michnik. No word if Logan Cunningham will be back this season, so the Vipers will have at least one goaltender now if Cunningham doesn't return. Michnik is only 18 years old, brings some Junior hockey experience. Not great numbers in the Western Hockey League but went 10-4 with Sherwood Park last season.

Once again the Vipers poor coverage continues. They can't even tell us about the trades that happened? This is the first real news we have heard this off season. No word on who is returning from last season, has the team signed/committed to any players for the upcoming season? will we see more trades to fill out the 2025-26 roster?

Can you list the players eligible to return to the Vipers?

This is the list I came up with, but all of these players could go to camp with a WHL team or go back to Hockey Canada's leagues like the AJHL, SJHL or even go to the USHL or whatever. But eligible to return are: Quaschnik, Harvey, Lominac, DeGraves, Ideback, Kallay, Cunningham, Bydal, Baar, and Heidecker. Koji Gibson has an NCAA scholarship for 2027-28 and he COULD return.
I was surprised by the number of last years players who are listed on www.collegecommitments.com as having scholarships. Dolzhenko, Nilsson, Revenig, Munroe, Pastro, Zimmer, Blanck, Grimes, and Kresl all for 2025-26 and Gibson for 2027-28. Simon Binkley got a scholarship while at Vernon but went to Moncton when the NCAA rules changed.

The BCHL operating outside Hockey Canada, the changes in the NCAA scholarship rules, and the general state of the Vipers makes a list of returnees very uncertain.

Thanks Bert Olmstead, I have been meaning to go through the Vipers 2024-25 roster to see who is eligible to return this season.

Were into June and teams have been busy releasing new player signings/committed players etc and the Vipers haven't said anything. Do they even have any players committed for the 2025-26 season?
