BCHL 8th, and should get worse because as they said not being able to play for Provincial, Regional and National championships will hurt the BCHL in the long run. Winning a league title is great but, not being able to see how the league champs stack up against the rest of Canada sucks. Have been a fan of the BCHL for decades but, only going so far as a league championship just does not cut it with me!
This is a very stupid move by Freddie. Winning by 5 goals a night just didn't make him happy. I just need a few more of the top 16 and 17 year olds from across the country so we win by 10.
Not sure why you think this is stupid. As much as we all dislike Fred he is the #1 Coach, GM and recruiter in the BCHL. He is using the rules that the league has given every team to his full advantage. Back before the Glenn's took over this franchise the rink was filled with scouts and recruiters night after night but that's what happens when you have when you have a GM and Coach that are totally incompetent. Do I like the direction that the BCHL has gone, Absolutely Not because there's really nothing to play for.
