Any thoughts or predictions on how the team is looking based on what's on paper?

You can add goalie Ethan David and defensemen Connor Elliott, Anthony Cliche, Cooper Cleaves, and Jordin Palmer. Additional forwards include Hank Cleaves, Jiri Duda, Julian Facchinelli, Ryan Lukko, Marcello Giorgi, Owen Kim, Owen King, Liam Payne, George Stavrianeas, Ethan Sundar, and Isaac Tremblay.

So 29 players will compete for 25 positions.

Every year, at this time, we look at a list of great recruits. The reality has been that few of these recruits actually make it through the season. Many are traded or released and then go on to be important pieces on other teams. I truly hope this is not the case again this year or it will be a black eye for the Vipers and the BCHL as a whole. With the fact that these recruits, if Canadian, can not return to any team covered by Hockey Canada is paramount. They are giving up so much to commit to the Vipers, potentially a full year of hockey development. Continuing to treat recruits like we have seen in the past few years will make it even harder to recruit in future and will not generate credibility for this league. I will give McKee & the Glens a chance to prove they will not continue with their "revolving door" mentality. They must bring in the recruits and create an environment for them to succeed, not lose patience quickly and cast them off. It certainly will be an interesting year. Go Vipers Go!!!

What ever happened to Talon Zakall?

Elite Prospects lists him at Dartmouth for the 2023-24 season. He aged out after the 2021-22 season and isn't listed as playing anywhere in 2022-23.
