Make your predictions, Who will win and what will be the final score?

What is a showcase? What is it for, what does it mean exactly? As far as I can tell it's just a regular game with the word showcase after. What are they showcasing and to whom?

BCHL Showcase provides one-stop shopping for NHL and college scouts

The Vipers caught a break today with the schedule at the Showcase. Alberni played Vernon on Wednesday and then are scheduled to play Penticton on Thursday. So they started their number 2 goalie against Vernon, saving their number 1, Hobie Hedquist who is committed to North Dakota, for the Vees. But their number two got the hook early in the second period after giving up 3 goals on only 5 shots with Hedquist coming in as relief.

The Vipers face winless Langley on Thursday morning. The Showcase is a great opportunity for NCAA scouts to see and talk to players and their parents. Scholarships will result.
