Gronick played parts of two seasons at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology from 1995-1997 before retiring from hockey.
Gronick played two seasons with his hometown Regina Pats from 1992-1994 before finishing his Junior hockey career with the 1994-95 Vernon Lakers. In 57 games with the Lakers, Gronick collected (27-goals-52-assists-79-points).
The Vernon Lakers were around from 1980-1995 before changing their name to the Vernon Vipers in 1995.
