For the second time within a week, the Vernon Vipers have committed to a new player for the 2021-22 season.

After reading a bit more about this kid and looking over his stats, I really like the sounds of him. The Vipers are getting a kid with some size and a kid that Boston College also likes.

Due to COVID-19 and some kids not playing hockey this year, you have to wonder how difficult recruiting will be this year for BCHL teams. You also have to wonder how recruiting will go with no BCHL regular season to date and the USHL & NAHL playing, if that will also have an affect on recruiting.

I have noticed a handful of teams across the BCHL have started making player signings/committed player announcements.

I'm still curious to see if will see the BCHL 2020-21 regular season this year?

I would suspect that if there is hockey this season it will be Okanagan teams playing each other only as to curb the cost of travel and expense to its owners. Alot of day trips for okanagan teams. This is not ideal but at least it would be some Hockey. It will be interesting in the days ahead. Have a good year 2021 DIEHARD and lets hope for the future of hockey.
