Well the Vipers have been busy lately announcing several new committed players. Logan Lorenz is the fifth newest recruit/committed player to join the Vipers. The kid has some size and put up big numbers last year playing in Alberta with Northern Alberta X-Treme Prep. I also like the fact he saw some action playing five games as an affiliated player with the AJHL Spruce Grove Saints. The first four new committed Vipers were defencemen. With the addition of Lorenz, this puts the Vipers roster at 22 players. The roster is not finalized but if the players eligible to return, do return and you count the new committed players, that puts the Snakes with twenty two players. If James Porter Jr doesn't crack the Spokane Chiefs this season, if there is a hockey season, he is eligible to return to Vernon and that would put the Vipers with four 20 yr old goaltenders. Something I have never ever seen or heard of before. The BCHL website has updated team rosters and several teams have full 21 man rosters and it's only June.
