Williamson’s Unbelievable Goal – During a BCHL Junior A game between the Vernon Vipers and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, Vernon forward Jagger Williamson scored a highlight reel goal to tie the game 3-all. The Lumby/Vernon hockey product picks off a pass at centre, drives it over the blueline while trying to avoid a check.
But what comes next is AWESOME. The speedy forward while knocked to his knees is able to play the puck between his legs while sliding backwards…only to get up and score a beauty goal to knot the game up.
The Vernon Vipers would go on to win that game by a 5-3 score!
