Stingrays Suspend Rights Of Former Vipers Captain Mike Ullrich:

The ECHL South Carolina Stingrays have suspended the rights of former Vernon Vipers Captain-forward Mike Ullrich. Ullrich started the season with the ECHL South Carolina Stingrays after signing a contract over the summer before signing with the CHL Tulsa Oilers in November 2012. In five games with the Stingrays Ullrich collected 1 goal & 4 assists, Ullrich played last year with the CHL Tulsa Oilers. In 66 games as a rookie with the Oilers Ullrich collected (29-35-64) and was named to the CHL All-Rookie team. Ullrich was near the top of the rookie scoring list for the entire season. Ullrich also was a finalist for the CHL Rookie of the Year award.  In 29 games this season with the Oilers Ullrich has collected (7-12-19).  Ullrich played parts of two years in Vernon (2005-2007) In 103 games with the Vipers Ullrich collected (39-92-131).

Mike Ullrich

Former Stingrays forward Mike Ullrich signed with the Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League. Last season he was tied for the Oilers’ team lead in points with current Stingrays forward Dylan Clarke. Ullrich’s ECHL rights were suspended by the Stingrays a couple weeks ago.

Just checked out why he was suspended, and learned that just yesterday his suspension was lifted!
