The AL (Asia hockey league) Tohoku Free Blades have signed former Vernon Vipers defenceman Brad Farynuk. There is no official press release but Farynuk is listed on the Free Blades roster-team website. This is Farynuk's second go around with the Free Blades. Farynuk played two years in Tohoku (2009-2011) before signing with the ITL (Italy) AS Renon last season. In 42 games in Italty Farynuk collected (8-17-25). Farynuk played three years in Vernon (1999-2002) In 135 regular season games with the Vipers Farynuk collected (29-76-105).
