Former Viper Correale Named AJHL Player Of The Week:

Former Vernon Vipers forward Gus Correale was named the AJHL Player of the week Monday. Correale in his third season with the AJHL Grande Prairie Storm was recruited by the Vipers.  Correale started the 2010-11 season in Vernon before being traded on October, 26th 2010 to the Storm for defenceman, Austin Baecker & future considerations.  Correale went pointless in nine regular season games with the Vipers.  In 19 games with the Storm this season Correale has recorded (9-12-21)

Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week

2012 November 5th

Gus Correale of the Grande Prairie Storm will open November as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week.  Correale scored 3 goals and 6 points in 2 games last week.  His 4 point night against the Whitecourt Wolverines on November 3rd earned him the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game Award.

Correale is currently enjoying a 6 game point streak totaling 10 points.   The 19 year-old from Prince George, BC leads the team in scoring with 21 points, an average of 1.2 points per game.
