Former Viper Bishop Still With Canadiens:


Former Vernon Vipers forward, Hunter Bishop is still at the Montreal Canadiens training camp. Bishop played three seasons with the Vipers (2005-07 & 2007-08) before playing two seasons at Ohio State University. This past March the Canadiens signed Bishop as a free agent to a two year contract. Last year Bishop played with the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.

Thirty (30) players are still at the Montreal Canadiens training camp, including three (3) goaltenders, 10 defensemen and 17 forwards. The list of injured players at camp includes; Curtis Sanford (lower body), Andrei Markov (knee), Hunter Bishop (upper body), Ryan Russell (lower body) and Roman Hamrlik (knee).
