I wondered if something wasn't up with Zhenya Miles. The Vipers acquired defenceman Jordan Gudridge from Sherwood Park November 13th 2024. Gudridge made his Vipers debut last weekend vs Okotoks wearing Zhenya Miles #6. Miles was still on the Vipers roster and lineup sheet but didn't play and wasn't announced as a scratch. I have been following Miles daily since and even as of today is still listed on the Vipers roster. I finally found him on the Pistons roster this afternoon.

I thought Miles played well at times but other times didn't. He would look real good one night, then not so good the next.

I have to question the Vipers and why they aren't keeping fans informed with player moves/transactions. The Vipers have made no mention of several players either being released or leaving the team this season and I have to wonder why? This is how rumors start. Here is a list of former players from this season that were either released or left the team and no mention from the Vipers. Zhenya Miles, Joey Mugaas, Vinny Ipri, Ethan Buenaventura, Payton Struck, Roarke Gilmour, Adam Csabi & Carter Streek.

It's been very difficult to follow the team and get interested in the team/players when so many players are coming and going so quickly, you need a lineup sheet to know who's still with the team this week.

This season is a mess and a major disappointment! Will anyone from the start of the season be here before the season ends? This is crazy! In all of my years following the Vipers I can never recall so many player moves/transactions in one season more then this year. How are you suppose to recruit players for next season and the future when players don't last a full season? Who would want to come here if they know they will be traded/released within a month? How is this team suppose to gel, bond and become a team with players moving in or out every few days/weeks? I don't get it.

With the poor recruiting and the amount of player turnover this season you now know why the team is struggling and only has 6 wins.

Cooper Cleaves is now the only defenseman who began the season on the roster. All others are additions.
