I have no idea why Kakoske was inducted, maybe because he is from Vernon. Who is in charge of the induction anyhow? Lots more deserving than him he didn't do alot!
No use commenting they are removed if you say anything about the Vipers they don't like!
I will not post comments with profanity, derogatory language or inappropriate comments.
Big fan of these 2 over the years but what even is the Vipers Alumni Club? Perhaps I missed something, but all I know is we have a couple retired jerseys and everyone else is proudly listed as alumni.
It’s almost as though their off ice staff went up to Colton Sparrow and said hey we need to do something to show that we haven’t forgot our roots… just stop, we know you give 0 shits, Glen family.
Just like changing the teams name, the entire community knows so perhaps it is time you start celebrating the Vipers history, from now until the end of the season. And at the end of the season, you(Glen’s/management) stand up and tell everyone that you effed up and had absolutely zero idea what you were getting into. Sure, record attendance is great and all but when your most passionate fans are talking the way that they have, there is a serious problem. And putting more butts in the seats is contributing to the problem, or enabling that problem I guess.
While we're on the subject of alumni, here's a story about former (briefly) Vernon Laker alumnus Terry Ryan who played an ECHL game recently at age 47. Ryan played 9 games as a Laker before moving up to the WHL and was a first round pick of Montreal. He also has acting credits appearing on Letterkenny and Shoresy as, what else, a hockey player.
